Vortex

With Yokogawa innovation, the digital vortex flowmeter combines the field proven sensor and body assembly used in more than 260,000 units installed worldwide with a unique and powerful combination of digital technology that includes spectral signal processing (SSP).

                                                               

The digital vortex flowmeter is accurate and stable, even in harsh process conditions, and has a highly reliable and robust design that delivers improvements in plant efficiency and reduced operating costs

A versatile selection of vortex flow meters with an absence of moving parts for measuring clean or dirty liquids, wet or dry gases or steams. 

They are applicable to a wide range of flows and process temperatures and are available in line sizes up to approximately 400 mm with insertion vortex meters available for even larger pipe sizes. Vortex flow meters are work best with clean, low-viscosity, medium to high speed fluids.

The measuring signal is not subject to drift. Consequently, vortex meters can operate an entire life long without recalibration.

Especial easy to install and commission.

Apply to pipe size DN70 or above.

Output 4-20mA to secondary instrument or some Intelligent Module such as DCS, PLC.

Can output pulse and equipped with flow totalizer for remote monitoring.

Can communication with computer or other control system under RS485 or HART protocol.
